Patrick Weber, M.A., studied Communication, Psychology and Sociology at the University of Leipzig. Before joining the University of Zurich he worked as a lecturer and project manager at the Institute of Media and Communication, Technische Universität Dresden and researcher in various research institutes. Since 2009 he is a scientific assistant at the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research (IPMZ), Section "Media Psychology & Effects". His research and teaching interests include persuasion research, media choice and effects, online research, and the analysis and prediction of media content patterns.
