Katharina Sommer, M.A., studied Communication and Comparative Literature at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, and Paris VIII. Since 2010 she is scientific assistant at the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research (IPMZ) in the department “Media Psychology & Effects”. Before she came to Zurich, she was scientific assistant at the department of Mass Media and Communication Research at Fribourg University. Her main research interests are media reception and effects, persuasion, emotion research, effects of organizational and financial communication.
